Costa Blanca

The Costa Blanca on the Mediterranean coast is a traditional and contemporary blend of nature and the modern world with beaches, coves and cliffs; gastronomy, art and history.

In all the corners of the Costa Blanca you will find yourself in touch with nature. The province has natural parks such as the wetlands of Pego, the salt flats of Torrevieja and Santa Pola, and the Font Roja and Sierra de Mariola mountain ranges.

From Denia to Torrevieja, the Costa Blanca has the ideal climate for watersports, sailing and leisure activities.

Calpe will surprise you with its magnificent, fine sand beaches and crystal clear waters, certified with the "Q" for quality and the Blue Flag, where you can enjoy countless family activities.

The Salt Flats Natural Park lets visitors discover unexpected landscapes. Flamingoes, coots,  Audouin's gulls and storks are just some of the many migratory birds that pass through this natural landscape. Let the panoramic views from the highest point on the Rock of Ifach take your breath away. From the top, you'll see the Serra Gelada Natural Park range, the Puig Campana peak protected landscape and the Sierra de Aitana range; the Morro de Toix promontory together with the Mascarat gorge, the Sierra de Bernia and the Sierra de Oltà; the village of Pedramala, the Montgó Natural Park, the Puig de la Llorença peak, the Cape of Moraira, and on the clearest of days you may even see to the island of Ibiza.

Gastronomy

The Mediterranean diet is an example to follow in terms of diet and lifestyle. The diet is considered by many experts to be one of the best, most balanced and complete diets in the world.

Rice is the centrepiece of Valencian food and traditions, along with the huge variety of fish and seafood from the Mediterranean, and vegetables and pulses from the surrounding lands, which make the Valencian diet so special. Here, you can enjoy innumerable typical dishes such as paellas and light local stews.

Calpe's privileged location provides it with the best fish from this bay of the Mediterranean. Its main dishes are a pleasant surprise for visitors with fish and seafood from the area and its fishing port offers high quality, fresh produce.

Sports

Calpe's location and fantastic conditions make it the ideal place to do any sport, whether in the water or the countryside.

It has three marinas:  Les Basetes, Puerto Blanco and the Calpe Royal Sailing Club. Here you can enjoy a host of sailing activities.
If you love adventure, on Calpe's beaches you can get an adrenaline rush with activities such as windsurfing, kitesurfing, flyboarding, waterskiing, wakeboarding and many more.
